Secretary of State Edward Davey speech to the AVOID symposium at the Royal Society

On 12th February Ed Davey, Secretary of State, delivered a speech to the AVOID symposium on climate change. He stressed that the responsibility of avoiding dangerous climate change falls on all of us, but that he will be part of a concerted push by like-minded countries at EU level to commit to a 30% reduction target in 2020, and to agree a further strong emissions target for 2030.
